By providing your mobile phone number during in-person signup with Smart Settlements, you consent to receive autodialed or prerecorded calls and text messages (msg&data rates may apply) about real estate settlements, including appointment reminders and updates.
Program Description Smart Settlements sends SMS appointment reminders and settlement status updates to customers who provide consent during in-person signups.
Opt-In
- Consent is obtained in-person via paper signup form where you check a box or initial next to: "I consent to receive SMS appointment reminders and updates from Smart Settlements (msg&data rates may apply; frequency varies; see https://www.smartsettlements.com/sms-terms; https://www.smartsettlements.com/privacy-policy)."
- Example form language: "Initial here to opt in to text reminders for your settlement appointments and updates. Msg&data rates may apply. Frequency varies. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Email info@smartsettlements.com for support."
Message Frequency Varies (e.g., reminders 24-48 hours before appointments, status updates as needed).
To Opt-Out Reply STOP to any SMS to cancel. You will receive one confirmation message. Opt back in by completing a new signup form.
Help Reply HELP to any SMS or email info@smartsettlements.com.
