Everyone that assisted my husband and I provided the best closing experience ever. We are first time homebuyers and assisted with fast and efficient pre closing documents. A shout out to Karen Gunn who prepared the pre-closing paperwork and to Errol Williamson who helped us sign the documents in person on closing day, he did so with humor and lightheartedness while also being informing us in detail on everything we were signing. Smart Settlements is always SO flexible. Whenever something doesn't go according to plan. Smart Settlements pivots very well. They go with the flow of the lenders, the sellers, and the buyers to schedule, reschedule, adjust, and modify any documents necessary for a smooth closing. Then the closing is SUPER quick. I've been at closings that take 2 hours for my buyers...not SMART. They're informative and patient. They'll answer any question my buyers have, but they're efficient. Closing typically takes no more than 1 hour. This place is phenomenal!!

You and the rest of the SMART team have shown nothing but grace and professionalism throughout this process (especially Franklin, during closing!). It was really great working with such a cohesive team - I always felt like my questions got prompt and thorough answers, and I appreciated being able to use the Qualia platform to view and complete documentation. I'll absolutely be using SMART for any future DMV-area home purchases to come :)

Karolina was great in processing the closing on my home. Smart Settlements' uses innovative technology on their website and mobile app make submitting documents to/from the closing processor, realtor, and lender very easy. I liked being able to deposit my check for earnest money through the app. The closing process went very efficient and smooth with good communication throughout the entire process.

Very glad we chose Smart Settlements to help us close on our first home! Closing on a house can be a stressful process with the deadlines, document requests, and negotiating - but Smart was incredibly responsive and quick to provide us with updates along the way. Their online file sharing system was incredibly user friendly and made it easy to view important documents throughout the process. Our processor, Karolina, was very proactive in keeping us informed, and made us feel comfortable that we were being taken care of. The highlight of the experience was the fact that we were able to close at our new house! This made the closing that much more memorable for my wife and I. Our closing agent, Matt, was very informative in explaining the documents that we were signing on closing day. We have no reservations about using Smart, and are very happy that we chose them to help us throughout the settlement process!
